Colyf currently handles deletion requests through a verified, manual review. Opening the email link does not send anything automatically.

When signed in, open Privacy in the portal or More → Privacy on Android and choose account deletion. You can also use the email option below without signing in. Every linked institution must review identity and required record retention before the operator removes shared sign-in access and profile information.
- Prepare the request.Include your name, institution, registered email address, and your relationship to the student if you are a guardian.
- Send it from an address you can access.Use the contact link below. It opens your email app with prompts; you choose whether to send it.
- Complete verification.The Code Lawyers may ask you to verify the account and may coordinate with the institution before changing school records.
- Receive the review outcome.You will be told what action was taken or why certain records must remain.
Deletion is not always immediate or complete. Academic records, financial references, safeguarding material, security logs, audit records, active disputes, or legally required information may need to be retained. Other data may be deleted, restricted, or de-identified, and backups may take time to age out.
Do not include passwords, one-time codes, backup codes, identity documents, or full payment-card information in the first email. If more evidence is needed, the operator will explain a suitable verification step.
